Codependency and Social Anxiety Disorder

For me, my codependency issues progressed until they crossed the line into becoming a crippling anxiety disorder, in my case social anxiety disorder.

Once I had developed a full-blown social anxiety problem, I needed additional help. I was fortunate to find a 12 Step program specifically focused on helping that problem, Social Anxiety Anonymous, which has instrumental in helping me to overcome these problems, I would also say that Alanon also remains essential to my recovery, but for my anxiety-related emotional illness, I am glad that I have an additional 12 Step program specifically focused on recovery that.

Best to all, John
