alanon----the defunker

(((roomies))))

thank you all for your posts. I did feel the love from you all. Decided to start my day over yesterday when the funk had set in. Worked on my gratitude list, accepted that I just felt unsettled. Had a talk with hubby about the problem. Said the Serenity Prayer and realized I needed to accept a few things and that I could change something....me. Used I statements...and listened. We had a good talk. I learned how he was feeling and I think he learned how I was feeling. We know this is going to be a rough road right now. Sobriety brings it's own set of issues. But I think we are willing to work on them.

It really helped to read your replies. Knowing that I'm not alone and have a place to go to when I can't get to f2f meetings is such a comfort. You are all alanon angels. Thank you for being you, for caring and for your love.
For now...i'm defunked :)

love,
your friend in recovery,
rosie
