First I heard from my brother. He wanted to say Happy Birthday. He doesnt sound like himself but at least he reached out to me. Said Mom and our other brother will be okay, that if they ever need cars he will buy them for them. I felt like asking when he'll pay rent/buy moms condo as she's moved out and he's still living there. I kept my mouth shut! surprise, surprise

Then my mother called to say Happy Birthday. I was away over the wknd at an AA w/Alanon convention. My husband told my mother where I went! This is the first time (since I came back to AlAnon over a year ago) that she has heard that I attend. I cut the conversation short but now she knows.
