GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Okay,

So yesterday I posted and it was all sweet and light.  I truly believe that stuff, really I do but right at the moment I just wanna run far far away.

I am tired of never knowing when my home is going to be invaded.  The A is here, has been using, has made a mess and because she is not my child I am not supposed to ask her to leave.  She is 28 and has a beautiful apartment of her own.

I am tired of hiding in the computer room or leaving my home.  I don't care if she is here sober and clean and willing to respect our home.  If those things are not possible then I don't want her here.

Am I just a nut?

I think you answered your own question....She is 28  she is no longer a child she is an adult and should be treated as one.

You do live there don't you?  Then follow your instincts and do what needs to be done.

I agree. She is an adult. You can change the locks. You can demand your key back. You're the authority in your house.

You can explain your position the next time she is there. You can explain your position in a letter. You can call her and ask to meet you for lunch so you both can talk. You can explain--or simply state--that you've gotten to the boundry line.

This is rubber meets the road time.
