MIP family members here in San Antonio.

Several of us got together here in San Antonio. Most everyone spent the week enjoying one another's company, but I had lunch with the group on Sunday. The restaurant where we chose to meet was closed, so we piled in our vehicles and went elsewhere. Had a great Tex-Mex lunch at "Mi Tierra," which is renown for its wonderful food...I ate far too much...laughed, and we took some pics. THanks, all of you for including me. Members came from as far away as Oregon and Mass. Isn't it interesting how no one ever looks like you imagine they will. I LOVED it!! Maria, that chocolate-peanut butter secret recipe was wonderful! I ate every piece. Now that's going to take a week of dieting, but it was worth it. Diva

Diva,

Sounds like fun.  Someday when the kids are all grown and out of the house I will get to travel like that.  I would love to attend a conference in every state and get to meet everyone.

(((((((((((((Diva)))))))))),

So glad you all had fun!  So when are you all coming up north?  I make a mean chocolate truffle.  I'll trade you the recipe for the peanut butter one!

Live strong,

Hey Diva

Didn't know you were in San Antonio - That is were we had to go for our Aunt's funeral over the Labor Day weekend - wish I would have known - would have asked you to come meet us at the Riverwalk on Tuesday night (9/5) - we took a break from everything and went out to eat and just walked the Riverwalk.

It was raining so not much was open - went to the bar named "Rita's" of course - took a picture of me with the sign & bought a T-shirt - had to have that with my name on it!!  Also went to Durty Nelly's?? - I think that was the name of it - an Irish bar?? - had a really funny guy on the piano singing!!

My AH, Brother-in-law & sister-in-law & I really needed the break from all the stuff that has been going on with our family - it was a nice get a way for a few hours.

anyway - I'll remember that you are in San Antonio when we go back to help my Mother-in-law move our Aunt's stuff back to Lake Charles - maybe we can meet for lunch or something, if you would be interested???

Love the fact that people in recovery around the world are getting together -

Rita
