He makes us laugh everyday and that is sorely needed around here, so we do this to show appreciation, LOL.
When he eats he shoves down his mouth right into the food so hard that he gets food crumbs up his nose. He is trying to fill his mouth as much as possible he is such a pig. Then, his mouth is so full that when he tries to open his mouth to chew, half of the food falls out of his mouth and he tries to catch it with his mouth and more falls out....and all the while he is trying to blow the food back out of his nose. This is what we hear for this ONE cat eating...SNORT, SNORT, SNORT (blowing food out of his nose, he sounds like a bull snorting), CHOMP, CHOMP (trying to chew a huge mouth full of food), PING (food hitting the wood floor that falls out of his mouth, of course he is a pig so does not eat over the bowl!), and SCRUFFLE (thrusting his snout as far down in the food as he can to fill up his mouth again). He sounds like a herd of pigs eating and when people are over and hear that noise they all stop and look out the window to see what is making that HORRIBLE noise...LOL. They can't believe it is one little delicate refined siamese cat eating...LOL.
He cries just like a baby for me when I am in another room, it cracks people up.
But I do have my limits...I love him but he is a STINKY CAT after all...LOL.
I don't let him sleep in the bed with me with his stinky little catbox paws with "catbox crumbles" stuck between his toes, YUCK, LOL.
He is very clean though, he washes where you pet him because he thinks WE are the stinky ones, LOL.
He is so spoiled that he bites me if I get him the wrong food or catbox. I had to refuse the catfood sample the vet tried to give me for their expensive food as if he decides he likes it and I can't afford it, I may not survive...LOL. He bites pretty hard if I give him food he does not like. He bites me all day long.
I bought some IAMS since it was on sale, cheaper than his usual purina. Boy was that a mistake. He was so mad when I went back to purina not only did he bite daughter and I AND MY MOM until we were all dripping blood, but he refused to eat until he got sick and I had to take him to the vet...sigh.
So, I had to give up my haircut at a salon and have my daughter cut my hair to buy him his IAMS and I had to give his purina away to someone with a more reasonable cat.
I don't know what to do with him now, LOL, I have created a monstor...but a cute one...
