We got to visit Vinny on Saturday. He is in alot of pain. The vet said he did 2 hours of surgery. 2 hernia repairs. He had drains on both sides & stables. He was sitting side saddled on the table. He let us hug & kiss on him. He looked so far away, I know he was hurting & probably going what was I thinking? I had my arms around him & he laid all the way down & put his head on my arms. My Baby boy! He had not eaten yet, he was drinking & alert. They were going to give him some stinky canned food later on. We decided to leave him there until Monday. It is quieter & we would not be able to take care of him as well yet.
We could not get the truck to run long enough so we loaded the car with the sale items. We got set up around 1pm. The prayers are working. The first car pulls up & gives us a $20, most gave a couple of dollars or change, then a jaguar pulls up & give us a $50. WOW! I about fell out. We had a great day. It was windy & hot under 95, low here. I think we made between $125 to $150 in 4 hours.
Tina called me after she dropped me at work. We are not suppose to take in any animals but she could not leave the 5 tiny kittens that were at the dumpsters. They are tiny. They look lke the twisted animals, big head, eyes & little body. They are about 6weeks old, guessing. We might be able to have someone else take them and foster them. Our friend in this county is going to be at Petsmart soon so hopefully she has someone. these kittens are all calico 4 females & 1 male. We have a crate & they are in the bathroom.
BugaBoo went thursday for an allergy shot, he came out this morning. He was sick from the shot. He is doing better. I could not imagine live without my critters. LOL The next door neighbors new goat just came to visit. Not easy taking a goat home very stubborn.
I am working 60 hours this week mostly nights. The man slept from 130am to 4 & 5:30am to 7:30am so zzzzzzzzz. but the money will be good. I hope he doesn't go on about drinking or going for a ride. It is annoying. Hey this program must be working my boss lady told my A Tina she likes me. I don't complain about work or anything.
I am praying for my alanon family too. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and prayers. Vinny is coming home around 5pm Monday. He & everyone will be in individual crates & look like houdini locks. (\0/)
I am so glad that your dog has made it. I am also glad that you seem to be containing your frustrations more. I know al-anon has helped me immensely with frustration, anger and focus. I am so so focused on what I need to do next.
