A Sincere Heatfelt Thank You

I'm new here & still trying to understand things, that it isn't always my fault. So this is all strange & comforting, if that makes sense. My first post was just a few days ago & is now on page 2. I feel bad that it took awhile for me to thank everyone who had made a response to my thread & this is a thank u to them & to everyone else whose thread I read & made it easier to understand the confusing. Just wanted to let u guys know u made a difference even if it be just for that moment. It made me feel good that I was able to vent & not feel threatened nor timid to do so. It's amazing to me that there's a place to run & not be judged. I feel overwhelmed w/emotion that people like me have a place to vent when feelin hurt, lonely... tired & to know there are others who understand.

I know I'll learn a lot here just by reading other posts. I have already.

Again a heartfelt thank you to everyone!

Muuuah!!!

souljacker,
welcome again!
I've learned so much here and have grown in the short length of time I have been here. There are many warm and loving people here.
Keep coming back, you'll keep feeling the love and keep on recovering.

The miracle will happen to you too

love and prayers
AM

Welcome to MIP.  It is an amazing place.  I have learned so much here, and was just miserable when I found this site.  There is something wonderful about being able to vent and write a long post and have someone's experience about what you are going through.  I find sometimes that I write better than I speak in a meeting, so that helps also, the anonymity.

I have learned so much here.  There are tools that will help you in whatever relationship you have with an alcoholic.  Please come back, it is "strange and comforting".  We need to be comforted, our lives are a little hard to deal with!!!

Love, HeidiXXX
