Received Book!

I got so excited,  I just recieved my copy of Courage to Change.

I began reading from the beginning. After I finished the month of January,

I thought to myself, I better slow down and take it "one day at a time"      But what a wonderful book.

This week I am trying to set and stick with goals, expectations and boundries I have with son.

His attitude is improving but still refuses to do chores. I had told him if he had his chores finished by friday, we could make atrip to the mall as he has been asking to do for a while (the mall is  45miles away and I hate going). Thought I would start with a bribe to help motavate him. But here it is Friday and chores are not done. Trying hard to not let it slide with excuse of his birthday next week. I should still expect the chores to be done.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and thank you all for being here.

(((((((((sld))))))))),

Glad you like the book.  It is a good read. Sometimes when I get so excited about a new book I just want to sit down and read the whole thing! But then I have to pace myself.  Keep up the good work with your son.  Enjoy your weekend.  I, unfortunately will be without hubby as he is going to see his kids. It'll be lonely, but hey I have to work all weekend anyway.

Live strong,

Karilynn

Yeah!!!  So glad to hear that is a good book, I just ordered it myself.  So many books are saving my life right now, there are some good ones out there.  I find that I am reading them over and over!

Good for you for trying to stick to boundaries with your son.  I haven't set any myself yet, still learning to detach with love.

You have a wonderful weekend also!!!

Love, HeidiXXX

As for son, just keep in mind that you are building a man :)
and you are his teacher.
