A friends sent me a little email that I thought might be a fun diversion for those of you who are interested. It was kind of interesting thinking about myself for a change instead of my A!

4 places I'd rather be: at total peace with myself, in a state of perfect health, snuggled up in bed with my A, Nirvana

Favorite Foods: (just 4?) anything Italian, Chinese, , anyfood I'm eating with the people I love, chocolate, french fries, rare steak (I took liberty since I've only lived in 1 place)
4 Most Important People: my husband, my nieces, my friends (Alanon & from my life) and Pipers Kitty (hey she's feline too!)

Jobs: Working in other half's dysfunctional family business (which may end soon) doing sales, books, shipping. Before that worked in office supply corporate office in various positions also. Have also worked in restaurants as a hostess. Also brief insane stint in basic training when I was 20 (a long time ago).
Places lived: Most all my life in Colorado with a brief stint in Anniston, AL
Vacationed: Colorado, California, Texas, New Mexico, Florida, Arkansas, Utah, Nevada, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin,Wyoming and when I very young, North and South Dakota. I love to go on vacation, but haven't been able to in a few years now.
Favorite Foods: Lean toward vegetarian, Indian, Chinese, Italian, some Mexican
4 Most Important People: My kitty my brother, my nephews and 1 niece, and my 4 yr old grand niece in Hawaii who I hope to visit one day. And the other half (when he is pleasant).
Someplace I'd rather be than where I am right now: Is this a trick question?? If it meant earlier today, or for that matter this whole week. we've been unassembling our warehouse and moving out of it. Major stress since this may mean one step closer to the family closing up the business for good and both other half and I will be out of a job. Right now especially I could REALLY REALLY use that vacation to the Big Island to see my family and do some major destressing and mental and emotional regrouping in the scheme of life.

Up until 3 months ago - Chocolate would have been # 1 on the list - but I have developed an allergy to Chocolate - it causes migraines and I can't eat any chocolate, none at all - as you can tell - I still have a resentment about this - I'll call my sponsor after posting this message - okay (lol) where was I favorite foods - Chicken Fried Steak, Kibby, and my Mom's home cooking

Well, we are moving into a new home within the next 2 months, and that would be nice since we are still living in the old home that was damaged by Hurricane Rita.

Okay and 1 for just fun and just for me - on a beach soaking up some sun, and eating chocolate with out the migraine (told ya I wasn't thru with that resentment thing yet )
