Praying for a Miracle from a bottle

Hiya roomies,


Well I went to the shop the morning to check on the car as asked to by the guys there. I took a young man for a ride in my car so hopefully he could see/hear what I was seeing/hearing. They had taken the car for quite a ride yesterday and heard nothing. The hope was that either I would hear nothing, or the problem would show itself for me.


Well this young man and I pull out of the parking lot, and .... the tranny slips. I look at him and I say that is it slipping right. And he says yes. So we go back to the shop. And they tell me it is bad that it is slipping.


But... they are trying one last ditch effort. They poured some "Miracle In a Bottle" (their words not mine, lol) into the system to see if that helps. I am pretty sure it is the stuff that rtexas told me about. Told me that it takes 50-100 miles to work. So I told them I would let them know.


As I was sitting here typing this I had to laugh, how many of us are praying for a miracle from a bottle? How strange to be posting that on alanon, most of us are here because we need a miracle to recover from the effects of the bottle.


Anyway-


I will keep you posted. It is a beautiful day and I plan on enjoying it. Even more so when I get to leave work

Dear Dolphin,

I am hoping all is well with trani, and the miracle in the bottle works for ya....Car expenses can be overwelming......my car has to go to the garage monday...oh dear please let it be cheap.....
