Wondering when I am going to hit my enough limit.

Just before the holiday, he started drinking again. He went out back to play with the kids, with his beer, and twisted his ankle on the trampoline. So he decided not to go to work he has been off work for 7 days 3 of them no call no show, two he called in. He was off two days for the holiday. While he was off he decided he needed more alcohol because he ran out so he was able to walk to store. He also thought it would be fun if we drank together so he bought me a bottle too (still in the freezer unopened). So this morning I got up extra early to take him to work. I get there and he comes back out saying he got fired. Now he is angry because he expects me to come home on my lunch and take him to get his check that he didn't get on friday because he decided to no call no show. I work aways from his job let alone go pick him up and take him to get his check. So he was very angry at me when I told him I couldn't. I just kept thinking of the program and was nice didn't lose my temper put it back on him. I told him that "I had done nothing wrong and he shouldn't be angry at me".  He asked to use my car today I told him I couldn't loan him my car that I needed it. He got so mad at me and was yelling at me. He said "this isn't your problem it is mine". "I said yes it is".  Probably shouldn't have made that comment but deep down I know I needed to say it. Because he has made this mess. I can't keep fixing it for him. The program has taught me that.  He called me here and appologized and let me know now his drinking buddy is taking him after he volentered is now currently unemployed and playing video games too. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Can't wait for my computer at home to be back up so that I can go to the online meeting when I need too. So looking forward to tomorrow nights meeting F2F.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Sorry, your post gave me giggles, What is it with A's and trampolines???  Mine took skin off his forhead and nose (thank goodness we have a net around it) showing off his "flips,"  Mind you he is 39ys old hehehe....for a week I couldn't help but laugh at his head lol.  Some times you just got to find humor in it.

You did well to let him face his own actions.  Good for you, it takes strength and practice, odat.  And not backing down to take him to pick up his check, well they could mail it to him, right?

Try to remember that his anger at losing his job is really at himself, he's just looking for someone else to unload it on.  Try not to take it personally and walk away from it.

((((lots of hugs to you)))))

he was doing flips too or so I was told LOL. I was at work so I missed all the action. His check they could mail it. But he is concerned he won't get it. He has to be in court next week.
