Tomorrow I leave heading back to Florida from OHIO, this has been as much of a rollercoaster and the rollercoasters i have been riding at Cedar Point .. ( that is a amusement park that i have been going to ) .. I did it,... a lot of firsts during the last 9 days .. I drove self and my children from Florida to Ohio ( first time ever ), rode several rollercoasters, one the fastest in the world, and finished my FIRST vacation away from my husband ( my a ) .. I have spent the week missing my husband terribly but havent spoken more than 3 sentences in nearly 2 weeks. I cant pretend that this wasnt one of the most difficult things that I have ever did but I made it..
I am really glad I came, my Father and Grandfather are both very sick in fact i am leaving my dad in the hospital.
Now comes the difficult part.. What do i do when I return.. ??? Before i left i ask my husband to leave.. That is why we ended up not going on vacation as a family.. I know that he needs to leave i just hope that I can stay strong and stick with my initial decision and not give in to more manipulation..
Please pray for me that I am guided in my decisions that i make during the next few days and beyond..

Hello Tammy congrats on the holiday , hopefully u had some great fun too am sorry about your dad but glad u got to see him for awhile. Don't get your expectations up about hubby leaving there is a good chance he didn't assuming that after a few weeks away u would have changed your mind. Stay focused on your own need and enjoy the trip back drive carefully and enjoy !!!!
I started taking our son on vacation without my husband when our son was 4. That year we went to the NH White Mtns for a week. Last year we had our first mother/son and our first two week Walt Disney World vacation. There have been many many vacations in between.
Over July 4th Im taking our 14yr son (and for the first time a friend of his) back to the NH White Mtns for 6days. In Aug my son and I spend a week at WDW before my husband (supposedly) joins us for the second week.
Glad you've had a really good time! It's good for your kids to see you having fun. I admire your bravery for trying a rollercoaster. Not in a million years could you get me on one! I'm too much of a chicken! lol Have a safe journey back.
What to do next is a hard question. I've always believed that the answers come when we are truly ready to receive them. You'll know, just be patient. (Easier said than done I know.) I know that when I made certain decision there was a great serenity that came over me. I never looked back.
