to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
This is one of the acronyms I got from Betty. It's very positive, however honestly, I don't think pain ends. For me, pain lessens, and I am extremely grateful for that. A reading from Hope for Today, p. 366, says how much hope is given in so many of alanon's tools--Steps, sponsorship, hugs, etc. Alanon is a perpetual repetition of hopefilled words and actions. In the thought for the day, it says that hope is one of alanon's gifts. I totally agree. :)
