Deepest Apologies About Last Night's Meeting

Hello Roomies,

Last night I was supposed to chair the meeting, but I didn't. I went to sign into mIRC, and I couldn't get a conection. Then I tried to log into msn, no connection. Internet Explorer, no connection. I have DSl, so this is supposed to be fast and easy, right. Well not last night.

It took me a few hours to figure out what happened. Some of you know that I have a pet bunny. His name is Pepper, and most of the time I think he is the cutest. He is potty trained (goes in a litter box) and usually doesn't do much damage to anything. Except for wires, he loves he wires. I have three kids and I think it is easier to child proof a house than it is to bunny proof the house. I moved the computer desk out trying to see if something came unplugged and the little turkey must have got to the cord while we were eating dinner.

Well now he is grounded, for the moment. I have replaced the cord, and guess what! I can get online again.

I am so sorry that I missed the meeting. I was really hot when I couldn't figure it out. But, now I have to let it go. Hehe, after all how long can I stay mad at Pepper. All he has to do is wiggle his nose at me and I melt.

Much Love,

hehehe –Dolphin, I understand. We had a few bunnies over the years and one would do just that, chew thru wires. I was told there is something you can buy at most hardware stores, a hard covering that clips around the exposed wires and cables to prevent them from possible harm and prevent us from headaches.
Funny thing about animals and wires (not) Our dog is adopted so we didn't know all his possible ‘isms. Turns out pup is not liking the vacuum. He’ll pick a fight with it when it’s in use -barking non stop, growling… Well… One day I had left it out, hadn’t placed it right away, the cord was unplugged and not wrapped up. Soon enough there was pup with the cord in his mouth. He chewed clear thru it in no time flat. And yes he made a statement -definite issues with the vacuum. I had the cord repaired, it’s now half the length it was, grrr. Lesson learned -vacuum only when dog is being walked and put away immediately after!
Things happen, glad to hear you have your computer up and running again.
As for Pepper, he is doing what bunnies are supposed to do, look cute

(((((((((((((((((Mandy & Pepper)))))))))),

Hehehe! Silly wabbit, wires are for computers!   I use to spray or even rub on a bit of tabsco and water on the wires.  One lick from the bunny, and she never went for the chords again.  Thanks for making me smile.

Live strong,

Karilynn & Pipers Kitty (meow)

My dog does that too. There is stuff you can buy-"Bitter apple" at the pet store. Spray it on everything. I am more worried that the animals could electrocute themselves that way.

thanks for the advice

My son & I just adopted 2 pet bunnies. I'll check both the hardware and pet stores for wire preventatives. We're having the house painted in the next few wks and it would be a good time to bunny proof. (Gotta move all the stuff anyways)
