Our www.mipchat.net page, which provided a entrance into our Al-Anon room, was removed by the group member who had kindly provided it, for what I will call "personal" reasons.  MIP still has all admin. rights to the mipchat.net domain, so while it will be down for the next few days, I will get it re established on a different host provider, and then you will again be able to get into our room by going to www.mipchat.net, or by using our main site entrance at www.12stepforums.net/chatroom2.html (which is still open and available to everyone).  A link to this entrance is also available in the group navigation menu at the top of MIP's Home Page at www.12stepforums.net.

If you are using mIRC to enter the room, make sure you are using StarChat servers to get into #alanonchat channel/room.  StarChat is listed in your server list in mIRC's Options window.  If for any reason you can not find it, you can ADD it to your list by clicking ADD and typing

irc.starchat.net

in the IRC Server box.

Also, this same group member shut down our OPs email account at ops@mipchat.net.  I will also be establishing another ops email list account, within the next 24 hours and notify all room OPs of its new address.

I will get these areas of our site re established, and functioning ASAP.
