age

I'm 19. I'm still unsure where I feel most comfortable.....on this board or the Alateen board. I also have been thinking of actually going to a f2f Al-Anon meeting but I'm unsure. Anyways....

How old are some of you?

Lanchas,

I'm older'n dirt..lol
But this disease has no age barriers.
For sure, the very best thing you can do for yourself is to attend meetings. It's not going to go away by itself, hon.

Some days I feel 20, some days 60.... LOL  But I am 41.

Not really sure that the disease discriminates against age, but the bottom line is you need to be where you are comfortable for sure.

Take care of you!

Hi Lanchas,

I agree with rtexas above, some days I feel old and other days I feel pretty darn young!  I am 44, but there are people of various ages that come here.  We all need ESH to get thru the day, and to deal with our alcoholics.

Glad to meet you,
