reconciling with AH - ESH???

Hi (((roomies)))

Hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend.  My AH, sons and I went to Maryland for the long weekend.  Had a really great time and I have decided that I am ready to reconcile with my AH.  Will definitely need to stay focused on my own program....living with recovery is in many ways going to be so much harder that active addiction... I knew what to expect with an active A, lies....so I need to be careful, keep the focus on me....

Will fill you all in later, just wanted to pop in and say HI to everyone.

Lynn

lynn, that's great that you had such a nice weekend.  i also spent a lot ot time with my ah and kids.  the weekend go off to a rough start but we had a nice day on monday.  i wish you all the best with reconciling with your ah.  i am not yet ready, i feel that we both need to progress further along individually before we try it together.  but i am looking forward to when we both are ready to start working on us.  thanks so much for sharing your decision with us.  i wish i had more esh to share with you but i appreciate your esh - it sounds like you've really got it together - keeping the focus you on.  thanks - good luck - quest

Way to go confused  glad your givingit another try .  Keep close to your al anon friends and program  stay out of his recovery and MYOB  , and your right sobriety is not the answer to all of our problems . but it helps  hehe

Your sponsor will be a great sounding board for you in sobriety ,  i was told to take my problems to a sponsor or a meeting and come home with the solution. so many things I wanted to talk to hubby about in sobriety but I know they would have caused alot of unecessary pain so sponsor was a great  help turns out I just wanted to  be h eard and it  really didn't matter who .

One day at a time , if you both want the same thing u just might make it.  We did and I didn't think we had a hope in hell .  He has the miracle of sobriety and you are going to find your miracle going to f2f meetings , you will discover the real you ,the person u want to be.

I wish u both luck  . Louise
