Strange...

It is strange how making changes in ourselves and how we approach our A and our own shortcomings creates changes in our family, life, acquaintances, relationships.  My A is still not living at home.  I am just amazed at how much peace I am feeling with all of this.  I find myself looking forward to a weekend with my family..my kids...myself....and my AH wants to do something with all of us tomorrow.  With no expectations, not setting myself or my kids up for disappointment, I am not feeling out of control, dependent on him for my social interaction, and really looking forward..not back.

He discussed with my 10 yr old son how "mom and I will work this stuff out, bud!"  And yet, I share with my AH that whether we remain married or not does not worry me...I will be fine....the kids will be fine...HECK...we are already approaching and exceeding fine....

There is peace in my home...I am able to be myself here....and the kids are really enjoying this lifestyle right now....feeling security in an ever changing world.  I am blessed, and can not tell you how WONDERFUL it feels to give this all over to my HP and enjoy this gift of clarity and self worth.

I don't know what the future holds, but I also hold no expectations or hope for how I want it to be...because my HP knows what he is doing, and I trust him with my life.  I continue to work on me.....taking inventory of the behaviors and actions that played a role in allowing my life to get away from me.  Hard work, but so rewarding.

Just wanted to share!

This program works...and it really isn't that tough once we learn to trust it..and the people that we meet in the process.  THANK YOU ALL for the support I have received.  It is a long term commitment, but one I have willingly accepted as the way to live.

Jen,

I know what you mean about the peace in the house. My AH has been out for 7 months and my kids and I have definately enjoyed the more relaxed attitude in the house. It is nice to see my kids smile, have friends over and have fun in the house.

Keep on working the process.

Linda
