update on my eye problem...

hey all,

Good news!  The spot and the cyst on my eyelid are NOT cancer!  Whoo hoo!   Just wanted to thank you all for prayers, they DO work.  The doctor said the cyst on the lower lid is an oil gland that is just kinda big, and if I want to have it removed, I can.  It can scratch the cornea, but isn't at the moment.  I told him I'd rather not mess with it if he doesn't think it is necessary, but he is a surgeon and it's his job to suggest it, lolol.  I think I'll wait and have it removed if it bothers my cornea.

Thanks again for the prayers and concern!

((((hugs to you all)))))))))

Kathi

I remember what an impact it had on the roomies when you told them about your eye. I felt the deep concern and compassion sweep over the spirit of the room. They love you lmt, you have given so much, been so important to so many. I know they stopped and prayed for you, I know you expected nothing less, and your faith was evident that prayers work.

When our buddy was walking toward a town, some blind men on the side of the road recognized him and screamed his name. His friends rebuked them because he was a busy man with places to go and people to see; they were protective of him and were totally intent on doing their part to get him to where he wanted to go. But the two blind men yelled louder, because they knew who he was. They knew he could heal them. He stopped. He turned to them, and he asked them, "what do you want of me?" They knew what they wanted, and they knew he could do it. "We want to see..." "According to your faith it shall be done unto you" And he touched them, and their sight was immediately restored.

They had a great deal to do with thier healing. They recognized the source of healing, they knew it was possible to be healed, and they had no doubt. That is faith, the feeling that all is well in the face of the appearances that all is not well. And that takes tremendous focus and concentration. You knew prayers from your sweet spiritual friends would result in what is in your best interest. And that is how prayers work. The one singular statement that I carried with me all my life from parochial school is this: "If you want to see your prayers work, pray for someone else."

Yes, we prayed for you sweet lmt, and by YOUR faith it was done unto you. And by the way, our buddy is now available to us all, in consciousness. If we go to our spirituality, he is there, waiting to help us to be whole, and to be happy. Isn't that the nicest thing to know?

love

mac

Did your doctor call it a "chalazion"  (sp)?  if so, it is  OK to have it removed. A simple procedure.  Done as an outpatient and only takes a few minutes to do it,someone to drive ya home is all  and one day of rest.

I had some problems a few years ago... and did alot of reading on  the eye and glands and such...found that "chalazions"  are sort of a common (well known.) I didnt know this. Had never heard the word beforer. But its true. Interesting the things that you can find doing research.

I'm  Sooo glad your OK    Hope to see you in chat  (((BIgHUG)))
