2/14/23 The Gift of…Confusion?

Great perspective check today as we are asked to consider how confusion can be a gift. This can be when we feel we need to make a change but are uncertain as to what it should be.

Confusion may be a sign of grace that helps me realize that it is not yet time to act. When we know more than we need to before it is time to execute, it may just serve to overwhelm us. When I am fully ready, needed details will be available.

If the bread ain't ready, don't pull it out of the oven! Let it bake...

Reminder: I will thank my higher power for my experiences, even when I'm troubled or confused. Every experience can offer a gift, IF I am willing to look for the gratitude.

Love this page, need this page. I like to research and have all info at first indication of an issue. Just as the reading suggests, I can turn this into an over analysis fest as I look to identify the "right" plan.

While this is still my tendency, Alanon has helped me a ton to be more willing to let time reduce some of the possibilities. Amazing how the situation I was over-prepping for often doesn't even develop. Premature prognostication strikes again...

Grateful for the wisdom and reminders

Thank you Paul for your service and this really neat reminder today.

I have always been a firm believer that there is a reason why everything happens the way it does

and I just need to be patient for the answers to materialize. Along with the Al-Anon program this

thought process has helped me to be grateful for what I have even though I am going through

rough times. Those difficulties, although tough, always sometime down the road show me how

I was able to grow and learn from them.

Good evening everyone

I never imagined confusion could be a gift at all. It's sure not a good feeling to not know the answers, not know what's best or what to do,it gives me major anxiety.

But...But... I am currently very confused about some options I need to choose from. There's too many of them and I have analyzed each and every one of them from every different angle I can possibly come up with. I was getting panicky over it and feeling so hopeless. And then I chose to wait before making a decision at all. I will figure it out when I am ready to figure it out.

I am glad I have been so confused because had I chosen the option I was leaning towards just for the sake of making a decision I would really be regretting it right now.

Have a good night
