A great weekend

Hi everyone

I am so truly grateful this morning. We had a great weekend!

My Mom and Dad  got here safely. My little guys communion went without a hitch, he looked so cute and it was a wonderful day. He looked like such a little man in his suit.

My daughters softball tournament went well. They lost by 1 in extra innings, but they where happy just the same.

My oldest son played for and won the state championship for Junior College Tennis, and he did it on his 19th birthday. We where both crying tears of joy.

Hubby was sober when ever he was with us. What he did when he wasn't wasn't my problem.

No scenes, no arguments, nothing bad, just a weekend of really happy events and good feelings.

My Mom and Dad and I went out to a big people dinner with just the three of us last night. No children sticking fingers in my plate and I got to eat while the food was hot. A real treat for me!

They left for home this morning after a quiet breakfast at my house with me and the baby.

Life is far from perfect, but HP truly smiled on my family this weekend. I will take whatever good comes our way, it makes the tough times, so much easier to deal with.

Jeannie,

Looks like our HP's were trying to give us both good weekends so we could be grateful. Sounds like a great athletic family. And who knows maybe your A is trying. I like the way you were able to let go of him when he isn't around you.

In support,

Nancy
