I am back........

Thanks you all so much for your prayers and there still need!!!!

My trip was painful, hard, but learned that i had dealt with how to deal with my alcoholic family when i am around them but not with my Husbands Alcoholic father but he is so different from my alcoholic parents that i forget that HE is alcoholic and HE is sick till I lost all my serenity!!!!! Coming home today i was in a tail spin with all my old behaviors hitting me and by the time I got home I RAN to the CLOSET MEETING I could find to have serenity and the meeting just so happened to be on SERENITY!!!!!

I did however while I was there read 2 books I sat out on my fathers in laws front porch in a rocking chair looking at all the open wide grassy green hay fields with cattle and birds playing in the pond!! The wind was blowing slightly and the skies were blue and most of all it was peacefull!!!!!! I did my prayers and I journaled I also worked on my steps!!!

But i am glad to be home!!!

Anyways i need rest i am tired long day!!!

((((((Bubbles))))) glad you're back.  And way to stay close to your program during a tough time.  Way to seek out the safe haven of a meeting soon as you were back on your home turf!

Much love,

Regina

Welcome back bubbles. It can be so hard to keep on track with the program sometimes. Well done for all you managed to do! I still marvel at how we get just what we need when we need it. You needed some serenity, you got yourself to a meeting and the topic was serenity...awesome.

(((((((((((((Bubbles)))))))))))))),

The remarkable thing about our program is that we can take it with us wherever we go. I don't leave home without it. I love sitting on a porch especially in a rocking chair. Sounds great. But I'm glad your home safe and sound.

Live strong,
Karilynn

WelcomeHome  **Good For You!**     that you had such a nice sitting place to relax and do some "good stuff" reading while away.  I too have found that having "My Books" in my bag can make all the difference in the stressd'  levels getting at me.  Just by reading Alanon Literature....   it always helps me     reminds me   its ok to slow down .... help me to not auto react at  those times  those things...that are not in my control    that they  really are   not about Me.   Helps me to remember what I know. ....  that it IS better for my inner (me) person to  not  let the situation or anothers words get to me  ....   That ...  " I  Am OK"   [THAT]  is  what is most  important   To Me   For ME   It makes for so much easier   to love them.  I hate this disease, not the person that has it.  Keep Looking uP!!   So GLAD you are  Safely Home  ~ ((((BIG BUBBLES HUG)))
