If you live in The United States of America, it is our Independence Day. A Holiday... a time to Celebrate.
If you do not live here, you can still contemplate the idea of CELEBRATION. Paraphrasing from The Language of Letting Go by Melodie Beattie:
Take time to celebrate.
Celebrate your success, your growth, your accomplishments... no matter if they are only "baby steps" along your healing journey.
Celebrate YOU, and who you are!
When you have a success, when you accomplish something, enjoy it! Pause, reflect on it...REJOICE!
For too long we have lived with negative energy... either from our SO or from within our own minds! Let all that go. Just for today, CELEBRATE who you are BECOMING!
I am wishing those who celebrate July 4th, an enjoyable and safe holiday. I wish every member of MIP a joyous, positive day full of the celebrations of your growth and accomplishments in your healing journey!

Thank you PNP! I too, feel grateful for our program on this day. with guidance from the twelve steps, we become more free and independent of selfish, dishonest, and fearful motives... which brings misery.
The result of these steps is more peace of mind... our true nature.
Happy Independence Day to one and all! I am full of gratitude for all that I have, all that I've been given and never take for granted the liberty we have because those in history fought for it. Each day is a celebration in my mind...I am a willing work in progress who strives to grow and change each day. (((Hugs)))

I am grateful for alanon and MIP through which I have learned to appreciate myself, in spite of difficult parts that still exist in my life. Being able to celebrate me enables me to appreciate others and many other things that I missed before recovery. Lyne
