Back again

Greetings MIP family. Been away for a bit, busy working and what not. But with the pandemic thing, a lot of the groups in our area, have shut down.  I did have a self-help group going at my place but even that is now an online group, in keeping with the whole social distancing thing. My place of employmnt, which is a home for recovering men, is on lock down. So you might see my name pop up more and more. Hope everyone is safeandwell. Be talking to you I'm sure.

Hey there Wolfie - great to see you....and yes - this place that John (RIP) created freely for us and that Betty (RIP) so, so loved is pure 'gold' to me right now as we practice social distancing. I am beyond words grateful that I have a recovery program, know where to find my support, serenity and joy and can do 'all this' One Day at a Time with grace, dignity and serenity.

My county has the highest count for our state, and more than half of the cases are through community spread. I am just trying to do my part and stay distant from any other folks. I'm part of several groups that are opting to meet 'online' or via 'private groups' to share, encourage, support, volunteer, etc. I've been very cautious what I do beyond my home simply because my husband is in the high risk category.

The Blood Banks are in critical low stage so my project for today is to see if that's a safe things to do. Even with a pandemic, we can be of service, large and small, which is important to me - it is a huge part of what keeps me centered. Stay safe, stay distant and keep coming back - really is good to see you!

Hi Wolfe-Welcome back! Its a time for reaching out so glad to see your name again.

Last night my F2F met online through something called Zoom. Its amazing to see all the faces I know and love, and we got to share, etc. I guess where theres a will, theres a way. A dear friend told me her A.A. meeting is now through a conference call. Even if we were brave enough or stupid enough to meet in person, the church we meet in has closed.

MIP is always here for me and I am grateful, Lyne

Great to see you again (((wolfie))) and hello to the missus. Stay well. Looking forward to reading more from you. At my house, told him "social distancing" for me is him staying six feet away from me when I have the cookie package. A bit of humor is helping. Thanks for the best wishes. Keep coming back. TT
