Update given to me from Bettys boyfriend: Betty is in the hospital and I dont know which one. She does not want any cards, flowers, or visitors. She also does not have a phone in her room. Her boyfriend will let me know about her condition towards the end of the week. I thanked him profusely!

Betty, when you can read on here--Love and light and prayers! I can't think of this board without thinking of you. Every time I see your face, there is a lift in my spirit. And I miss you when you go on vacation. So I hope you are better and back soon, soon.

When you get able to read this, please know that you have been in my prayers every day and I send you my love and prayers for getting well...I can't even fathom this board without you....I "grew up" in Alanon so much because of you and I thank you by paying it forward to others.......you are MISSED......putting you in the loving arms of your HP........Love you Love you Love you.....

I am one of those people who.do not want visitors or phone calls when I.am in the hospital
I hope your recovery is swift

Being in the hospital is not exactly restful so I.hope you will be hone soon to get well in familiar surroundings
Maresie - agree completely....my last visit to the hospital, I requested, just like Betty, no visitors, no calls, etc. I had my mobile and called others when I wanted to and kept it silent beyond that. So agree that the hospital is not a restful place - always ready to go home and do the real healing/resting!
