I never thought I'd have to worry about this. Nothing in the family since 3 generations back. But then I did have roughly a gazillion chest X-rays last December.
Saw a new, really nice doctor yesterday. Hubs had been waiting for 6 months to see him, had an appt. Tuesday and asked if he'd see me (he didn't know I was having any symptoms) and they could get me in yesterday. That was pretty serendipitous, right there.
So, I'm to have a mammogram and other diagnostics on October 7. That's plenty of time for a miracle, if it is anything. I wouldn't be asking for prayers this early, perhaps, except that I can't take much of anything, and would like for this to just go away within the next 12 days. Not that difficult, really.
So, to anybody who prays, I am asking for them. And I have every good expectation.
Loves and thanks,
Temple

Temple, I will add you to my prayers. I have had many tests, biopsies, appointments, etc., and I know the agony of waiting and trying to remain positive. I would frequently think to myself, Thy Will Be Done.
Take good care of you during this time.
Thank you for sharing and I too am sending positive, supportive energy!
Sending positive thoughts your way! ((((Temple))))

(((Temple))) - I too pray regularly and have added you to my list. Stay present in today as that's really all we have!

My wise old sponsor used to remind me (over and over again).
Try to focus on the whats, and not the whys, as the whys will eat you up. So October 7th will come whether you fret about things for the next 12 days, or choose to live your life like every day is a new fresh start. Obviously the hope is that this (fear) of what may come to pass on October 7th does NOT set you back right now, and we DO know, that you have the skills and toolset to deal with whatever may come, post October 7th.
Enjoy your next 12 days, and no matter what the outcome on that date you have circled on your calendar, you'll be better off for having enjoyed these days :):):)
Hugs
Tom

I'm not worrying. And it has certainly gotten me off high center. I'm doing all those self-care things I've been skipping while I've had the sulks.
I've always been very grateful for all of the beauty and sensory delights in this world and all the great people I've come to know in one way or another.
The fridge is stocked with real food which I will actually cook. Told Hubs I know this is going to be hard on him, eating at home. He's just a little bit concrete and didn't get that I was teasing him.
Blessings to everyone on the board, I always pray when asked, and I don't always report it. Everyone here is a blessing to me.
Loves,
Temple
