I didn't intend to post here today so i don't really have a relevant topic to discuss. I popped on to check my messages, and one particularly wonderful MIP member that I chat to asked to see pictures of my new kittens. I don't know how to do that via chat so I shall post them here, because who doesn't like kittens, (seriously, who doesn't like kittens- let me know and we can take it outside).
The back story to these guys is, 2 weeks ago we had a massive heatwave here in Oz. The girl and I were in the lounge complaining about how effing hot we were and suddenly we heard this pitiful meowing outside. I have posted before about how we have an ice-addict neighbour that I am kind of scared of. She smashed my windscreen one night in a fit of crazy but that's a story for another day. But anyway they were outside her house wailing in the heat. Daughter ran over and scooped them up and brought them inside.
Crazy ice freak neighbour says she has no idea who's they are. No-one else has claimed them so now they are family I guess and we are saving our pennies to stop them from multiplying. They are so freaking cute. I love them. Daughter says they are hers so I am making her pay for their food and flea/worm stuff and save for their desexing with her wages, as she is 16 now and has a job. Look at me, parenting like a hardass. She is also in charge of changing kitty litter. She's bad at it. lol.
Anyway, here they are. The boy, the white one, Phoebe named Valentine as he has a heart on his side.
So without further adieu, I give you Valentine and Morbo.

Thanks folks. I can't seem to edit to add pictures or put that other one right way up so here are better versions. Nice to see you all! And it's nice to have something pleasant to come here with David I remember reading that chooks are actually more intelligent than cats, how does that strike you now you've had both?
Ha ha , I love the photo with the stand off with the dog.... he is looking like what on earth has invaded my space, shall I eat it or must I behave lol.
