TID BITS OF WISDOM_17 JAN

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves. --Carl Jung (1875 - 1961)

The best portions of a good man's life, his little, nameless, unremembered acts, of kindness and love. --William Wordsworth

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. --Helen Keller

A good exercise for the heart is to bend down and help another up.

Nothing hath separated us from God but our own will, or rather our own will is our separation from God. --William Law

Relinquish pain and suffering. Experience joy and serenity. Let go and move forward. --Deborah Ann Smith

Love yourself. Accept yourself. Be honest about what heals and helps you. Then you'll bring your healing gifts to others. Your life will be a gift to the world. --Melody Beattie

****Haven't you met a person that you either reeely resonate with or they make your hackles stand on end???? If I see me really dislike someone, I do a quicky step 10 and ASK me  "ok..they are either triggering me or they are reminding me of one of MY defects I still need to work on"...an honest step 10 usually sorts it out, or maybe a re-visit to step 4 if need, but I notice my initial responses to someone, positive or negative really ends up positive because I learn something about me I need to work on getting rid of, or its a trigger of an old past wound I need to put the "peroxide" of program on

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. --Helen Keller

*****The basis of why this program works so well....I call it  "Sharing and caring"  I try to give back- pay forward all the love and support I've gotten in program with my fellow travelers

*******I am in transition now, really working a deeeep step 4 and journalling, meditating, sharing about it and also doing behavior modification, LOTS of stuff to over write the old, sick ways of the past...I downsized/decluttered my house in 2018...2019 is the year I REEEEELY downsize and declutter my life, my body, mind, spirit...Yea, I guess I've progressed OK for one who was so sick, but I'm going really deep beginning this year because I want change...LOTS of GOOD change for me....Change me...change my life....it starts with loving and accepting me and being brutally honest about everything about me....Then I can share that with others...and yes...be a blessing to the world

Rose, I like your new signature! I just posted that I am and feel like I would always be a 'Work in progress.' And I am content with that! AS long as I am not digressing, right? LOL!
How is your back today? I had to take a higher dose of CBD last night and thought of you... so lifted a "prayer" to the universe/my HP on your behalf. Time for me to see the chiropractor!

Lord, Rosie--

All that clean living really pays off!

I'd say you bring to mind the Energizer Bunny, except that he's been scruffed up. If he were a girl bunny in a cute outfit?

Second purge? Remember, as healthy as you are, you are going to live a long time, so don't give away all your cute jeans. Grins!

Loved the quotes.

I realized when I was around 30, that if I took an instant dislike to someone, that person might very well wind up a friend. Darndest thing. I was getting major hints
even then that I obviously had no clue. More recent events have confirmed this suspicion.

Hugs,

Temple
