In this daily, author talks about staying emotionally sober because it is FUN..We must make recovery more FUN then being in the disease...He/she encourages us to try to things..make new friends...try new food...Live it up within reason, of course...having adventures are a basic human need..and we don't need to be in the disease or do chemicals to have fun....Actually living a sober (emotionally in our case) life is easier...So the daily encourages us to "go for it"
sobriety is fun. Living a spiritual life is fun. Get out there and live!
Prayer for the day: Higher Power ,teach me to play. Teach me to have fun. Teach me to live! Action for the day: Today is for fun. I'll try something new. I'll see how many people I can get to smile. And I'll celebrate the fact that I'm sober.

this applies to emotional sobriety as well....I think it can be a good thing that I have to still work to supplement SS...it keeps my mind nimble, i meet new people..I am OUT there doing life...I go to gym, I FIND fun and pleasure wherever and whenever I can....Black Friday is coming up...I am not going to be "financially fearful,) but will be "sensible" so I will "do the rounds" enjoy the day when I get off work......and see what treasures I can find, and maybe just chat up some folks that I run into...Having FUN does not have to be expensive...I'm creative..I'm gonna "go for it" and "have some fun"
