That is the town of Paradise in Northern California...The town burnt to the ground businesses and residences with but a few escaping death.  I have the thoughts for them and I have the prayers also to donate.  HP always...everywhere....((((hugs))))disbelief

Thank you Jerry for the prayers and thoughts...one of my good friends lives near there..She can't go outside, the smoke is so bad...Her cell phone pics were horrid....you could see this awful, thick "haze" and when the sun was setting it was "hazed over" like you were looking at it through a grey screen of sorts.....I THINK she will be ok, but so many are not...Winds blowing does not help matters....they need a fierce rain..heavy and long lasting....

in 3 separate CA areas, wild fires are burning, with Paradise being the worst....So scary!!! seems CA goes through this awful situation every year...I remember 2 years ago, the fires were on my BIL's front door almost...he had to evacuate, trapped in traffic, but he turned out ok...With heart issues now, it was a scary time....

I have a lot of family and friends in CA, spread all over, so this time of year I do a lot of steps 1,2,3...My BFF in Las Vegas even gets some of the bad air from all those CA fires.....

My very dear friend posted this on Facebook so I will share and let you all know whats going on  These poor victims dont just have the fires to worry about.

 

 

Listening to the newest update on the fire. Today the winds were nothing!! Tonight is going to change and change for the worse wind gust up to 50 mph and this is suppose to go through Monday night. The smoke is so thick and smells horrible. 

Total of 23 deaths as of now. Please please pray for these families because some of them are only being identified by DNA this is such heartbreaking news and it's not going to get better anytime soon from the sheriffs report just now. The fire is still growing sadly.

 Now after reading or hearing about this fire and what's going on with other Human Beings WHY is it that people think it's ok to go out and STEAL!! Loitering in my eyes is the same as STEALING!!! Believe it or not there are people doing this right now. While some are worried about if they have a home to go back to, you have these sorry excuses for a human OUT taking things that do not belong to them!!  This is beyond ridiculous!! Our sheriffs and other law enforcement officers have other things they need to be focused on not these idiots out stealing!! They will be prosecuted if caught, IF being the key word. It's a sad day when you have to be evacuated and you can't do it without worrying if your  home makes it will you have your items left or has someone stole it? It's just sad that people are willing to risk their life plus the life of a fireman or a policeman to steal. 

Sorry for the rant but a Thief should be shot onsite. jmho

Prayers going out ,lots of tragedy going on in California lately ,1000 oaks shooting I heard was close by also.so sad.
My daughter n family live in Las Vegas ,seems to be fine.
Praying for lots of rain for paradise and all around.

I do know that MIP is a Al-Anon recovery forum and couldn't deny that many in these area are also brothers and sisters in recovery.  I have but one voice in a  membership of thousands so "When anyone anywhere reaches out for help I want the hands of Al-Anon to always be there and for that...I am responsible".   Mahalo Family.  (((((hugs)))))  smile
