update

Well - We are in our new home, some adjusting to do, but a much calmer atphmosphere!

Had the washer and dryer, ice maker, phone and internet hooked up today.  Tomorrow the plumbers redoing some pipes. Got a call in to remodeler to fix the shower area, regrout tub and water proof area better.

Boys had wrestling banquet tonight, John got a leadershi award and James got postive attititude award.  My A went with us as a family.

Things are still going well there, he traded our truck today, because neither of us wanted it.  I had already bought a car anyway.  Still have somethings to get out of the house, but should not be a problem.

Still unpacking, missed trash pick up this morning of course, so I have another week to sit on it plus everything else I pitch.  But feels good to unbourden from under the stuff.

I want to thank everyone for their support, still one day at a time, taking it easy wading through it all.  I only work Friday this week, so still have time to rest a lot.

Look forward to getting back into chat and catching up on all of your llives.

Josey

Hi Jrt,

Hope you get some down time to actually sit and enjoy your new place after all the running around you have done.  I am sure it won't take too long until you and the boys have made your house into a home.  Luv Leo xx

Awesome news.  See there is life after leaving an A .  I am sure John and James are happy that your A is showing that he still cares about them.

I just gotta share one thing that just last night was so nice about having my own place without the chaos ~ I was laying in my bed with freshly made sheets that had been hung outside (love the smell) and had the slider open so I could listen to the rainfall outside.  It was such a comforting and wonderful scent and sound and feeling that would not have happened in my marital home.  I love being the Queen of my Kingdom.

I hope you will too.

Love Maria

Hi, congratulations on your new home! Moving can be very stressful so I'm glad its working out for you and your boys. It won't take long before your new house is a home and I hope you'll all be very happy there. You sound like you're pretty much on top of it all, I'm so impressed! I moved back into my flat having lived with my Mum as I had been extremely unwell. I'm so disorganised...boxes still unpacked, mess everywhere. Ok, so I'm still not very well and can't do much but I apply the slogans 'keep it simple', 'easy does it' and 'one day at a time'. I'm just happy to be back in my own space and know it'll all get sorted eventually. For you it's a new beginning and I'm so excited for you. Thanks for the update. Try to find a little time to just kick back and relax if you can.

Glad for the update.  I had to smile when I read that you had the kids wrestling banquet, and were getting all of the hook-ups done, and had missed the trash pick-up.  I like your priorities --- Moving can take its toll on me physically and I need to sort things into first things first.  For me the kids and basic hook-ups are way ahead of trash and being completely unpacked.

Take good care.
