Welp. Its Been Way to Long... Seems Life takes over sometimes and I Forget were I got our Footing to Carry on... I Love that even after all this time, I can Come back and still see Sooo Much Recovery here...
My Recovery Road is Still Carrying On at a Rather Steady Wonderful Pace :) This Winter will be 10 years since a Got my Start at MIP, and In that time, I have Fought Hard to Keep My Recovery, I'm Currently sitting on 7 Years & 7 Months Sober from Alcohol, and I can Honestly Say this Program... Al-ANON... Not AA, Got me on that Track, with all the Love & Support from the Wonderful Peeps Here and In My Home Group, and My Higher Power...
I have So Much I Want to Share, Yet SO Much I Want to Catch up on with All of You The Minute I Popped on and Seen a Couple of My TRUE Recovery Hero's Still Here, My Heart Exploded in Love Hotrod & Jerry You Two are Always IN My Recovery Daily, If Not for the Two of You and SO Many More here (I Just haven't had a Chance to see the rest of ya's YET!) I Know I Would Not Have Found My Footing in Recovery... So Know I have So Much Gratitude for you All
So Just wanted to Pop in, and Say, I'm Still Kickin & Swimmin but No Longer UP Stream, its a Nice Steady, "Go with the Flow of Life"... Sorry for being Gone so Long, So Grateful to be Back! and I Hope I can Pick up and Carry On and Get to Meet So Many of You that Have Found your Way to this place since my Absents :) This Program has Changed Everything about My Life, and Everything for the Better & Greater Good What a Blessing
I Have My Days Like Everyone Else, but I am Thriving & Grateful for Each Day I Get the Chance to Be on this Path with So Many that Have Helped Guide me along the Way :)
JOZIE as long as you have been traipsing around in our hearts and minds...you have not been gone!! You have left your name etched on the wall of my own recovery and I can go there and focus on it and feel comfort. I shared this morning about the effect that so many others directed by HP have had on my life and in my recovery. I know by this that HP cares about and loves me deeply so that I never have had to suffer that fatal consequence of alcoholism...death of spirit and then body. Mahalo Akua for the Jozies' and the many other brothers and sisters I have come into contact in both Al-Anon and then AA also. Such a make of miracles our program is...SUCH!!...slide off of the edge of the lake of recovery and immerse along with the rest of us fishies (((((hugs))))
