C2C reading for today reminds us of the benefits that we obtain from working the alanon program
it suggests that by facing the many problems that life brings, using the program tools we become convinced that HP will never abandon us or let us down. Life may be difficult and we may not get what we want however we will be given the courage, serenity and wisdom to live life to the fullest
this is great news to hear,,for life can and does get hectic.
when I think,,going with the flow slogan seems to lighten my load a bit..
have a great day all,,,,,,Im planning on enjoying my rainy day at home and enjoying it,,,,,,Lu
Hi LU Love your new avatar. It is so beautiful and reminds me of HP's love.
Love this reading and I agree, trusting HP has certainly lightened my load and provided me with the courage and wisdom i had not ever accessed before . I did not receive a life without pain (unrealistic I know ) however i was given all i needed to navigate the rough waters of life and come out successful with, lessons learned, and serene. I could only have accomplished this while holding tight to HP's hand. have a lovely Saturday and Thanks for your service
Thank you Betty for sharing your wisdom and experiences ,,,
It's a lovely journey , I'm grateful for ,always excited to see what awaits me ,lots of insight, new learning,a healthier me..and my hair is finally coming back after paper thin hair the last 14 yrs,I'm now getting full all my hair back, very awesome.......................
Thank you LU and Betty. Very cool about your hair LU!! :)
I'm applying this today to the challenge of not smoking. I've left them in the car, have to go out to get one and it's down to less than half of what I was smoking. I'll let HP walk me thru it and yes, hopefully make it to the other side and shout for joy!! Anxiety has been hitting big time for the first even when quitting.........supposedly a new side effect. More likely the additives they keep putting in the smokes! Looking at today and also looking at what this will feel like on the other side without them!
Thanks LU for your service and the daily! I also love your new avatar and great news about your hair! Thanks to all for the ESH and shares...
Recovery has given to me the ability to trust in HP and others who are put in my life for a reason vs. a season. Before recovery, I gravitated to less than healthy people as I was also not very healthy. Today, I prefer to roll with 'it', stick with the winners and do the best I can to be present and trust HP and his plan.
I learned early on in recovery to find gratitude that my needs are met and consider any wants that are met as bonus time! This has served me really, really well. In spite of many things happening around me that are stressful, sad, etc. life is truly good. Of course, there are times when I wonder what the lesson is yet each time I remain open, it typically unfolds.
Happy Saturday to one and all - I've been to a meeting, grocery store, had a nice nap and am pleased to be having a lower stress day!!
