Merry Christmas Family...didn't see an earlier greeting so here is one from the Big Island of Hawaii. It is cool and not cold...Mahalo Akua (Thank You HP) for that cause I don't do cold and there is no alcoholism wandering around bumping into my life like there use to be. Now it is doves outside the window cooing and making dove sounds and other chirpers calling me out to feed them. The atmosphere is calm and slow...nice huh? I will join the grand and great-grand kids for Christmas lunch and get bunches of laughs there. I'm wishing all you well and happiness to the degree that you feel it and hope you can pass it on to others. (((((hugs)))))
Thank you, Jerry F!! Merry Christmas to you as well! Did you know it is a Scandinavian tradition to leave bird seed on your doorstep on Christmas Day? It brings good luck in the New Year... so feed those birdies man! LOL!
Thankful for seeing your post this morning!

Mahalo David for that. The smile isn't painted on this maka, face, it is also on my heart...P&P that is special information as I enjoy the birds milling all around under the feeders as those on top spread the seeds below. More special now...((((hugs))))
Thank you, Jerry! I wish you and everyone here on MIP a good Christmas, too! While I'm at it, I want to add thanks for being here with and for me digitally this year, MIP has been of great value to me. I just shared today another thing I consider(ed) embarrassing about myself in a meeting and once again no one judged me or threw me out (as I fear deep down). This acceptance of me with all my flaws and defects is such a gift of the program. I struggle with accepting myself, but the fellowship shows me again and again that I'm accept-able and gives me strength to accept myself, piece by piece (I can't do it all at once).
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night....JK - had a lovely day - spent the morning with the parents cooking for the family. Spent the afternoon and evening with the extended family - probably 50 present. No spills, breaks, excess and the next generation are just such a joy.
Both my little people were very excited that Santa came and for the Teddy Graham crackers & dip that is present at all our family functions. It's so amazing how little people can find joy and excitement over the simple things - what an inspiration. It's a good day when we gather and there are no fights, no tears, no falls, no breaks, no spills and just genuine peace/calm.
I am glad to be home, relaxing and working still to recover from this influenza. I now have an annoying rash all over my back and torso but can breathe without coughing - so will call it a win and take it. May the spirit of the season and the reason be what guides us all into tomorrow - enjoy the evening!

Sorry to hear that you are still ill, IAH... but it sounds like perhaps you are on the mend. I hope you continue to feel better! (((IAH)))

Thanks PnP - you know....since we are all about recovery, I really feel gratitude that we've had a relaxed, pleasant visit in spite of all outside influences. With my parents being 83 years young, and not knowing how much time they have left it does really help me appreciate the One Day at a Time concept and being of service.
Slowly on the mend and I mean slowly. This all started for me a week ago Friday after a pre-school program so this is day 12 and I'm probably only at 50%. Happy Tuesday one and all!
