C2C Reading 12-16

Posting for Looking UP  The C2C reading for today is  extremely helpful and I love how it reinforces the fact that we are free to  take care of ourselves in many situations .

The reading points out that we have many responsibilities, but many things that we do not have to do in our lives. These are: We  don't have to understand everything, we don't have to be reluctant to show our feelings,we don't have to worry about the future, as we can live one day at a time. we don't have to feel guilty about the past with the help of the steps, we don't have to feel alone as there is always a meeting and we don't have to take responsibility for other people's choices, and lastly we don't have to give up on our hopes and dreams because HP is not limited by my lack of imagination.

I think this is an excellent page 2 meditate on hen you post.

Have a great day Betty

Thank you Betty for your service - I could not remember who does Saturday....this cold has got my brain wrapped up and distracted. What a lovely reading for this time of year and where I am, just for today.

I woke up and felt cruddy. I usually go to a meeting on Saturdays and I give another person a ride. My sponsor also goes and one of my best program friends. I was torn as nobody wants to be around a sneezy, coughing, miserable person spreading germs ... yet I really wanted to go. Well - my HP had a different plan - my sponsor had to fill in for a youth basketball game ride, my friend and my rider got called into work retail and I quickly realized today was no longer a meeting day for me.

One day at a time is such a gift and letting go of all that pops into my brain regarding tomorrow, the holiday, my kids, etc. - when I am willing to let it go God does a really great job!

I hope you had a wonderful day...I just chilled with my spirit guide (dog) and feel a bit better. (((Hugs)))
