Cathy is free!! The drama is finally over. I'm so happy I took the plunge and finally took control of of my life. It wasn't easy but the results are wonderful. Will I get lonely? ...I hope not. One day at a time to make my life better and better. WOW.....I never thought this would ever happen. PINCH ME!!!
I have heard my son has been sober for a while now and living well. I pray for his continued recovery and wish him the best life can give him. I have let go and let God.....with love.
My X partner.....I worry about him a little but in his case I will let go and let God also.
I have rented a really nice house and all my thing are in place and it's clean and warm. I feel safe.
Today I went back to the old house and had it cleaned and ready for the new owners. My X left trash, tires and 2 OIL drums in the shed and I freaked. I didn't know what I would do but my neighbor came by and he took the oil for me and took it to the recycled place. Then the trash man came by to pick up the trash can FULL and much more beside it. He took all the tires and trash left.... pulled his big truck into the yard and took it all away for me.. WOW....I'm blessed....God was in my corner this morning.
Next week I go back to work for 3 days then off for Thanksgiving. I'm going to the river and visit my sister....haven't seen her in like 3 years so I'm happy. Also it's nice to go somewhere and not have to worry about somebody getting hurt or mad at me.

Terrific update . It is heartwarming and uplifting to hear. I am so happy that you are at peace with things. It has been hard earned with a lot of work.
Thank you all so much for the encouragement and support.....it makes me feel so good. After work today I'm off the see my sister and family for a grateful and blessed Thanksgiving weekend. I will enjoy every minute of it.
I'm going to continue to learn and thrive in making my life the best it can be. My new journey has just started and I pray it continues down the right path one day at a time.
