Thank you everyone on here for helping me during this dark time.  My al anon group was a great help to me.  I am certain there will be more dark days to come. I could not have done it without you.

I am sad he could not find recovery, but it was a great gift to me and my mom.  It's a gift to my whole family.  Once again Thank you all.

He wanted no funeral, but screw him, my mom and I are going to have a little memorial by ourselves.  He had his choices we have ours.

I took my mom to her favorite place.  I brought my son along and MY MOM'S oldest friend showed up right at that time.  We read a prayer for him.

How magical that your post here is so up lifting for me reminding me of many positive lessons in my recovery such as "courage is fear that has said it's prayers" and "Acceptance is the solution to all of my problems" and more.  I'd like to hear others examples also.  Mahalo Lucy...keep coming back.   ((((hugs)))) smile
