Things at home continue to progress forward. The abf remains sober. Its a miracle. Yesterday, we worked on cleaning the garage and he found 2 unopened beer and threw the contents out. I was shocked. He says, you want a drink and I said NO, he says its a cold beer, and I said No again. He went and opened it and threw it out and said if I were to drink this, it would mean another and another and next thing its liquor store time and missing work and all hell breaks loose. Good awareness. I was proud of him for taking his sobriety seriously. I continue to feel content with having a quite home rather than insane drunkenness happening, 24 hours a day. Every day we have been praying together and giving thanks to god for another day and to guide us and he gives thanks for another sober day! I still in in aww that today he remains sober. I am so grateful for this and that I can walk up today and know that I do not have to endure hell again. I am working hard on staying present and thanking god for his blessing of sobriety in the house. I still have my plan B in place in case all this goes down the drain once again! But for today, I am grateful for sobriety in the house.
(((Joker))) - thanks for the lovely share! Gratitude is a lovely way to start each day - may your peace continue!!
