The C2C reading for May 15 speaks about entering Al-Anon and discovering the warmth and caring found within the rooms. It points out the people in Al-Anon have learned a non judgmental patient way of life and even though you don't like their hugs and walk away,they keep inviting us come back , They respect boundaries and don't judge or question our need for space. Individual members sit with us as we cried, rejoiced with positive changes and offered their experience, strength and hope as we learned to new positive tools. It was a safe environment to practice in . I have come to appreciate that there are many different expressions of love.. We find reassurance, comfort and strength at Al-Anon meetings

I must say that thanks to alanon and my new learned attitudes, I know that I can love more deeply without string or expectations. This a true gift from HP and program

Love & the 12 step program makes the world go around. I would say this has changed me, the world inside me & the world around me. Using the tools of the program makes a lot of difference & give me hope. W o the program & God, I would be stuck.

I say thanks to al-anon too!! It was through other people treating me with kindness and respect and patience that i finally learned to treat myself with the same. Loving me until i could love myself i believe is the term for it
