Great Wedding, Great Trip - Glad to be Home

So - off to Florida I went and had a lovely time.  The wedding was awesome, my nephew and his bride were adorable and all went well.  I went on a few 'field trips' that were not in my wheel-house because it seemed like the right thing to do.  I did not get enough sleep, as we know happens but it was awesome!

My nephew's new MIL and her sister have adopted me - so I have 2 new sisters!!! biggrin  We had a blast together and are planning a trip later in the year together!

I met a lovely local gal on the flight down - we also exchanged contact information, so another new friend.

This just cracks me up as I was one who used to get on the plane, put in my ear phones and hope others didn't strike up a conversation.  Not that I am introverted, I just always assumed people could look at me and know I was a terrible wife, a terrible mother, etc.  How crazy is that thinking?

So - we have extended our family and they are lovely folks.  The kids all had a blast and drank way too much and danced to music I have never heard (made me feel old)....

I gave hugs to old people, and danced with a woman who was recently widowed and she was so wanting to dance and cried and hugged me for asking her.

So - I am tired but had a blast.  My fur-baby was so happy to see me, she squealed with joy!  I am grateful to be home to recover!

Just wanted to share - hope everyone has had a good weekend!!  (((Hugs)))

I did have a blast - thanks Betty for telling me I was missed!

Alyce - I love the .99 cent store.....it's so fun to see what's in there for less than $1.

I'll send prayers and positive thoughts your way for a great interview!!

(((Hugs))) to both - glad to be back and looking forward to 'normal' a bit...missed both my meetings over the weekend - worth it, but I love my structure!!

Thanks all.....boy - I am dragging a bit today! To be expected I suppose! Hanging with healthy young people who appreciate me for being me is such a lovely feeling - helps me realize my sons as qualifiers have chosen such a difficult path. It makes me a bit sad to be back....memories are awesome though!!
