A Poem - Who Am I?

JUST ANOTHER EXISTENTIAL CRISIS

Who am I to think what I have to say matters...

Who am I to think I could help anyone?

Why is it that God made me so sensitive I wanted to jump our of my skin most of my life?

Why is that I can touch someone & know what is wrong & my hands burn like fire & makes them feel better (well, that's never been me, always God!,  heh)

Who am I that babies smile at, strangers walk up to & tell secrets & animals flock towards me?

Why is it that I can hear God whispering in my ear and still often choose to argue in my stubborness?

Why am I a romantic loving simple fool, willing to forgive others, more easily than myself?

Who is it that I get a thrill hearing my cats purr, birds sing and water flowing?

Who am I to still not see the divinity within me?

I surrender to You God, so that I may be found by us both!  Your will be done! Amen.

That was lovely. You obviously have a strong spirituality. I think its wonderful that you heal others and they must sense your 'inner goodness' or the babies would not be smiling, the strangers confiding or the animals flocking.

Hope you're healing yourself too. Thanks for sharing, with love in the fellowship
