I am now a Board Certified Registered Nurse! Yesterday I passed and have accomplished the biggest goal I had set for myself since leaving my exAH and heading out into this big world without needing to rely on a man! I have broken so many family cycles and the dysfunction just keeps sloughing off. I truly am so grateful to al-anon for teaching me to take good care of myself and my children. I am still a work in progress, but man have I come a long way! My oldest is signed up for a great college next year and turned 18 last month and my 7 year old is healthy and thriving. I am so appreciative for all the love and support from MIP over all these years!!!!

Thank you all, I am truly over the moon for where my life currently is and I give all the credit to my landing in al-anon. Finding my sponsor and relying on God to steer as I stay open to listening to my voice within. I am following my dreams and no longer feeling resentful for my situation, because the misery of old no longer holds me back. Thank you for all the love and support!
