hi all

As i was posting a reply to someone else,s post I realized that there was something i wanted to share. I suggested in my reply to give themselves a break over emotional reactions because they are doing things differntly now.

As i have been trying to adjust to my new life, i have been sqelching alot of sadness over the failure of my 25 yr old marriage. My higher power and myself has produced for me a nice apartment, a new flexible job and surprise of all an old boyfriend came back to me for a second chance for a relationship with him. True, alot of my marriage was miserable, there was some good moments and i worked at it for so long trying to save it. I now realize that having a six yrs younger man who often acted 16 yrs old was a mistake. Not to say i wasnt codependant in some senses. I guess its normal to want to ignore the loss and want to fill my life now with positives. Still the wounds are still fresh and i still have to have contach with my soon to be XAH. In fact, since he is incapable of locating papers for our last tax returns together, i have to go to THE HOUSE to get them.

thanks for reading and following my life

alyce

Alyce Grieving the loss of a marriage, regardless of where you are now, takes time and is painful. Please be gentle with yourself.

Hi Alyce,

Thanks for sharing the positives that are happening in your life. You've got some unfinished business with your exah but the awareness of the good things that are happening during this time of "new beginning," is important. Thanks for sharing your feelings of hope, gratitude and progress.  ((hugs))) TT
