I have been participating in the chatroom and message board since Jan. 1 of this year. I went to Alanon f2f 19 years ago, for about a year, but divorced the A, so figured I didn't need it. So, who am I married to now? Another A! I am also ACOA, father died when I was 16 from cirrhosis of the liver. I have never been involved in a healthy relationship, tho I Have been married 5 times, currently to the love of my life(been together since 1997), and intend to stay married, even if we cannot live together at the time. For past 2 weeks he has been living with A friends (his choice) and attending court appointed treatment for alcohol, which he is angry about and blames me for. I have a grown daughter who is married and lives close by. Age not a big factor, but maybe a female in the 35 + age grp., and one who has decided to stay in her marriage also might be able to give me insight and hope. I would hope to find someone easy to talk to, open to listening to me. Someone who has worked the steps and who relies on Al-Anon for their day to day living. Thanks. Let's talk!
