New Here and have a simple question

My GF has been in AA and sober for about 19 days.  Is it ok to tell her I am proud of her?  Or is there a way to communicate that and be supportive to her?

Welcome to MIP lounap23 - glad you found us and glad you posted.

There is no issue at all with telling her you are proud of her. You can certainly celebrate her success/recovery at any point you decide to do so.

Keep coming back! I do encourage you to explore Al-Anon - it will give you a better understanding of the disease as well as give you a support system for yourself since it's considered a family disease.

tell her how you feel my friend! Blurt it out...! smile Why not?
