I can't believe it! I am suffering from a head cold. Not a great way to celebrate...I even had plans for later today... I guess I will be down for awhile.
Well...I went to bed earlier than expected. Didn't intend on staying up but life is funny... I woke up just after midnight... right after the fireworks started. I mean I was already awake...& in our small town to boot. So maybe the new year started off rough but I can still make it better. One day at a time. Can't expect to get well instantly. Good health for all of you & continuous prosperity.

(((Kathleen))) - so sorry for your head cold - sending prayers and positive thoughts your way for a speedy recovery! I did NOT make it until midnight and if there are fireworks regularly, I've missed them - gone, sleep, other... Last night, someone very, very close to our house set off 250-500 BlackCat firecracker and then the finale - a huge bang! I woke up but didn't get up ... just waited for quiet and to go back to sleep!
Not as planned but not too bad!!! Hang in there and take good care of you!
