trying to find time

my life has been a complete mess the past week or so. i have had no time to come on this message board even. i can feel everything going out of control because i havent had time for the program. i got to a f2f on monday and i felt good, its thursday morning and im a wreck. i know i need to phone my sponsor but am terrified. i dont know why. im seeking into such deep depression and this just all sucks. i dont know what is going on, i dont know what to do. im so lost right now. im blabbering but just trying to reach out i guess and let you all know im still here lurking and hopefully can get into chat soon when i have some time. im thinking and praying for all of you. you all mean so much to me. thank you for all your support through the good times and bad. all of you are the best.

I have certainly been in many many deep depressions dealing with the A.  I think he has a real knack of dumping his stuff on me.  Detaching from him has been such a gift. I work each day on detaching even more. There are many many subtle ways I can get pulled into his orbit and get out of tune with myself. Then I start the whole day polluted.  I hope you can come back to chat and to meetings.  I am working a the moment so trying to stay grounded as well as do all the things I need to is tough work.  Nevertheless I feel I am moving ahead with my plan and working on my recovery every day.  I do hope we all get to see more of you sometime soon.  I know the familiar feeling of panic, despair and then not knowing what to do.  That is one reason I find a plan so comforting. I know the next step I need to take!

Hello, notsonew,
I know the power of depression, and my heart goes out to you. I hope you were able to pick up the phone and make contact with your sponsor.
We are all so glad you are here, too.
Blessings,
mebjk

I have suffered from post - stroke depression for 7 years now.  You are going to have ups and downs, you are doing the right thing, reaching out and not hiding like so many that suffer from depression do.  I was told once keep your bedroom clean, so you feel good every day when you wake up and take a shower every day even if you don't need to leave the house.  I think it is good advice for depression.  Now somebody come make me do it! LOL

YES!! Call your sponsor!!  Won't be anywhere near what you are letting your mind make it out to be.     Your sponsor can help you see things more simply. more clearly. So easily. You'll rest easier and wonder later.... why did I let myself self build things up into such a rattle. Totally  unnecessary.

Take careYOU!  Keep it Simple  Keep Looking uP!

...    and say to yourself  "STOP!" ...  when ( like Kitty says sometimes)  those ol stinkn' ways of thinkin try to creep into your train of thoughts.   ((BigHuG))
