I know it's a cleche' people say dont take your loved ones for granted. I have seen it several times this week alone. But tonight I had to say goodbye to my soulmate of 24 years. I had always pictured us growing old together, sitting on a porch in our rockingchairs watching our grandchildren play... all of a sudden that other chair is empty. I'm thankful for the time we were blessed with and even though everybody has their ups and downs I would trade those hard patches any day for the beautiful times we shared. Please don't take your loved ones for granted, cherish what you have because you never know when that gift will end. With all the hate and ugliness in the world you need to grasp the love and never let go... I Love you Angie, always and forever, apart or together, love in every way, eternity and a day

So sorry jamky. You are right, even when the going sucks, just knowing that other person loves you, and you love them, can take you through a lot. I will make sure I go home and hug my wife extra hard tonight.
