disturbing man in the library...Patience & Tolerance

I might be like him at times but there is a man in the library who can't keep quiet & yelling at the top of his lungs. He is trying to be overly helpful & is getting on my nerves somewhat. This might determine how long I am on here. God has a sense of humor because I have to tolerate & be patient w/ others. I am sorry that I have to type this & post it. I am sure that my day will go better. I hope his does. He is very needy. I have been there. Enough taking someone else's inventory. I am a long standing member of the 12 step program now & you would think I would be better at this. I will practice patience for the rest of the day. Not sure about tolerance.

How important is this really? Will it take all the serenity I have. I am just grateful for good timing.

I am getting off the computer.

Kathleen

Kathleen, I like that part where you say "I might be like him at times".  So few of us recognize that, and that is part of what really contributes to our acceptance, and our serenity.  There is also the courage to get up and change our position, that can definitely also contribute to our serenity!

(((Kathleen))) - I see program, love and patience all over your post. How cool is it that you typed out what you were feeling/thinking vs. telling him to go away? I am sure I've been like him before and it might happen again. Hope to see you back sooner rather than later!

There are so many reasons that could explain this poor man's behavior. He could be Autistic, hard of hearing, or MR . My guess is if the Librarian isn't saying something to him, then he does have issues.
